The Auditor: Strategic Advisory

I moved into freelance auditing and strategic consulting to provide high-level clarity to organizations struggling with complexity. I specialized in identifying revenue leakages that standard software missed, acting as an objective eyes-on-the-ground for my clients.

The Strategist: Product Leadership

I spent five years as a Product Owner, defining the roadmaps for RCM software and EHR integrations. Building billing portals and API-driven systems gave me an "under-the-hood" understanding of how software can either streamline revenue or create invisible leakages.

The Architect: Systems & Compliance

As I moved into Business Analysis, I became an expert in the "language" of healthcare data. I managed HIPAA EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271) and designed executive dashboards. I ensured that the data moving between providers and payers was accurate, compliant, and actionable.

The Pivot: Data-Driven Optimization

I transitioned into leadership roles focused on denial management and payment reconciliation. This is where I began using IT tools to perform root-cause analysis. I stopped looking at why a single claim was denied and started looking at why the process was failing.

The Foundation: Mastering the Trenches

I began my career in the core operations of RCM. By managing medical billing and claims for large physician groups, I learned the "anatomy of a claim" from the ground up. This phase gave me a deep empathy for the daily hurdles billing teams face.
